- Recorded from wherever you are on Riverside — studio-quality audio and video, separate tracks, nothing to install. Quality matters: a quiet room without echo, a desktop or laptop rather than a phone, and a proper mic with headphones make all the difference.
During
- Fifteen minutes to settle in and check the tech before we press record.
- A conversation, not an interview — an hour, unscripted, stories over questions, with up to fifteen minutes’ wrap at the end if we need it while your tracks upload.

Prepare
Listen to a couple of episodes, think about your story, and find a quiet room with a mic and headset.

Record
We start with 15 minutes to get to know each other and run a quick tech check, then record remotely via Riverside — studio quality, from wherever you are, with cameras on. For now I publish the audio only.

Preview, then go live
You get a private preview and a chance to suggest changes before anyone else hears it. Then I publish with polished show notes and send you everything — links, a calendar invite, ready-made clips, quote cards and share links.

Share it — this bit is yours
The episode is about you and made for you, so your network is what carries it. A post in your own words drives more reach and downloads than my channels can on their own, and a rating on Apple or Spotify lifts the whole show, which lifts your episode with it. Tag me and I amplify everything you put out.
Worth knowing: with more than 250 conversations had and a wonderful line-up of guests already booked, episodes are currently released several months after we record. That time gives your episode the care it deserves: it’s edited, written up and shared with you as a private preview first, and you’ll get a calendar invite for your go-live date so you can plan how you share it.

A moved recording takes the next available slot, which may be several months away — so please choose a time you’re confident you can keep. Guests often move their recordings, so earlier dates do open up — you’re welcome to check your reschedule link from time to time and move to a sooner slot if one appears.

Is Inclusion Bites right for you?
We prioritise lived experience and those with powerful stories to tell. When I read applications, I look for three things: a first-person story — adversity you’ve come through, or a difference you live with; an angle the show hasn’t covered yet; and something listeners can take away and use.
My guests come from all walks of life — and that includes professionals, practitioners and authors. Whoever you are and whatever you do, what matters is the human story behind it and what listeners will take away. An episode built only around a service or a book launch isn’t what the show is for, but your work and your book can come up naturally as you tell your story.
Inclusion Bites is an audio-first podcast in English, made for people who listen. Every episode is a relaxed, unscripted conversation of about an hour, recorded live in Riverside, so it works best if you’re comfortable chatting in English without a script.
What I can do to make it work for you: choose a time that suits you, pause for a short break within our 90 minutes, slow the pace, edit out pauses and stumbles, switch on live captions so you can follow me more easily, and welcome a supporter in the room with you. Tell me what helps in the accessibility box on the form. I read every answer.
What I’m not able to offer: interpreters or translation, written or pre-recorded contributions, recording on other platforms, or questions in advance. If that rules this out for now, thank you for thinking of the show. Please do keep in touch.

Do you use AI to review applications?
Yes, as a helper. An AI assistant summarises each application against what makes a good Inclusion Bites conversation, so I can review them carefully every week. I read every application myself, and every decision is mine.
How do you use AI in making episodes?
Our conversation is recorded on Riverside and transcribed by Castmagic, and Claude, an AI assistant by Anthropic, helps me draft the show notes, chapters and quotes. I review and approve everything before it’s published, and you get a private preview to suggest changes before your episode goes live.
How long is a recording?
Allow 90 minutes in total: 15 minutes to settle in, 15 minutes of contingency for technical hiccups (they’re more common than you’d think) and 60 minutes of recording. Any breaks fit within those 90 minutes.
Are questions shared in advance?
No. Inclusion Bites is unscripted by design, so I don’t share questions or themes in advance. It’s a real conversation, and I steer it so you never have to prepare answers.
